Today’s movie is The Odyssey directed by Christopher Nolan.
Long-time listeners of Molly Movie Club will know our mixed feelings on Christopher Nolan’s movies, and The Odyssey is no different… except, it is. The cinematography (something that Nolan and DP Hoyte van Hoytema usually excel at) was surprisingly bad, while things Nolan often struggles with were actually pretty good. Overall, we think it’s a movie worth seeing, despite some major flaws.
