I am choosing September’s movie theme for one simple reason: I recently got a limited edition 4k Blu-Ray of Lawrence of Arabia, and I reeeeeally want to watch it.
It's just going to be audience interaction, I think! We can't really do watch-alongs unless we find something on Twitch that is actually worth watching :) But maybe we will! If anyone has suggestions of things we could stream on Twitch that would be great...
Well for Twitch Partners or whatever, there is actually a list of movies you can watch _on stream_. These are movies that Amazon Prime has the rights to or something.
There are a lot of movies on there, so we could actually find something perhaps - like looking right now, I see several "real movies you could watch in earnest", like: Top Gun, Wolf of Wall Street, Lord of the Rings, Licorice Pizza, Gladiator, The Devil Wears Prada, Shaun of the Dead, A League of Their Own, Clueless, The Silence of the Lambs, Galaxy Quest, Apocalypto, The Terminator, Heathers, Manchester by the Sea, Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Usual Suspects, The Big Sick, Casino Royale, Train to Busan, etc.
So we could pick one of those, and see if it works! IDK.
